The desire for personal growth has become pervasive in our society. Everyone, it seems, wants to find the secret to personal happiness and well-being. Many of us have turned to mainstream self-help literature to deal with this existential crisis, and I am no exception. In seeking enlightenment I remain radically open to all ways of knowing. For that reason I have decided to explore these self-help books by adhering to their central tenets for a time, and writing about my experiences. This blog details my experiments in living by the self-help book.
